Way for obtaining perfect make-up. How to prepare your lips to wear matte lipstick?

Matte lipstick isn’t for everyone? What a nonsense! Frequently I come across articles and entries where some girls complain about matte lipsticks. They don’t want to buy such colour cosmetics because they look unsightly when applied, dehydrate skin, etc. I would even say, that I see such comments too frequently. Therefore, I decided to finish with these silly myths and show you that a matte lipstick can look good on everyone’s lips.

Is matte lipstick for everyone?

Certainly, it is! The key that helps a matte lipstick look good is the effective care of lips. If you rather don’t focus on lip care much, don’t expect a matte lipstick to add you charm. If your lip skin is dehydrated, there is no matte lipstick that will look good on you. Instead, it will only bring out the imperfections of your lips. To conclude, a matte lipstick is a perfect solution for everybody whose lips are neat 😉

How to prepare lips so they look good with a matte lipstick on?

There are a few methods but I’m going to present you my set of treatments that condition my lips. With these few steps I provide my skin with softness and smoothness, which is so crucial when it comes to obtaining the flawless effect a matte lipstick can gift us with.

1st step. Lip peeling

The most important issue is removing all the dry and dead epidermis cells. You can take it for granted that when your lips are chapped and uneven, a matte lipstick will gather in the creases and this will look far from being appealing. Therefore, to smooth your lips you can give a go to readymade delicate sugar peelings or a scrub that you can prepare at home. Personally, I’m for peeling made of fine coarse sugar and honey – tasty, effective and nourishing for lips.

2nd step. Maximum moisturisation

Removal of dry epidermis parts is one thing. The second issue is providing lips with moisturisation at the highest level so the hydration lasts long. Therefore, applying the homemade lip peeling from honey is the first step to deliver water to the skin of your mouth. You can also go with various lip balms, petroleum jelly and a thick layer of a decent moisturising cream. Vegetable oils will also do. However, a single application isn’t enough. Such products have to be used regularly, best if rubbed into lips, not just distributed delicately all over them.

3rd step. Lip contour

In order to make a matte lipstick look perfect on your lips, it’s crucial to outline the lip contour with a lip pencil. Of course, the colour cosmetic has to match the lipstick you are going to wear. In this way, you will make your lips look fuller while the lipstick will look more appealing.
