Super-Effective, Iconic Skin-Care Products Are Making a Comeback!

Do you ever wonder which ingredients are worth incorporating into the skin-care routine? The substances that we use for conditioning the skin matter a lot – active ingredients are the ones that really have the power to improve the skin, its density, health and appearance. Apart from the obvious and brilliant hyaluronic acid or vitamins, there are some more worth knowing. What are they?

1. POT MARIGOLD

If you often suffer from skin irritations, incorporate marigold-rich products into your skin-care routine. This plant has a soothing and repairing effect, prevents irritations and calms the skin, plus minimizes redness. It’s a source of polysaccharides and vitamin C. Use it if your skin is coarse or to get rid of post-acne marks.

2. WHITE TEA

Many cosmetologists say it’s better than green tea! The white tea extract is a brilliant antioxidant which neutralizes activity of free radicals, inhibits the aging process and gives skin plumpness and youthful look. White tea is also very gentle on the skin and makes the face look much better through improving the skin tone. It’s infused into many moisturizers but I like my white tea-based face serum the most and of course love to drink white tea (or teas) every day. 🙂

3. ALOE VERA

Use pure aloe pulp of the miraculous plant. I’ve got aloe in a pot and use it for DIY beauty treatments. Aloe makes a brilliant skin-care product because it contains over 200 active substances (including essential vitamins and minerals). Thanks to that it makes skin better and has a super-beautifying effect.

4. SEA BUCKTHORN

I have a confession to make: I love sea buckthorn! Both the buckthorn oil and extract improve my skin and hair super fast. The plant protects against the external factors, abounds in vitamins (A, C, D, E, K), flavonoids, iron and beta-carotene. That’s why it’s able to even out the skin tone and give it a radiance boost. It revitalizes the skin, helps keep it young-looking and brightens pigmentation spots. Sea buckthorn oil gives a beautiful hair shine too!

5. BABCHI

Babchi doesn’t sound like the name of a natural plant-derived skin-care product, does it? Surprisingly, this plant is an all-natural, vegan, mild substitute for retinol. Even sensitive skin goes with this plant. Babchi smoothes face lines, increases skin’s plumpness and evens the texture and color. Babchi-rich cream works great with vitamin A (retinol). First use a retinol serum and then the cream with the plant extract. Of course the duo works only for skins that aren’t hypersensitive.
