This is an entry that belongs to my fav category, which is, what I consider as a wise purchase and what I wouldn’t recommend you for all the money in the world. This time I’m going to tell you a little bit about face care. I’m reviewing a product that won my heart because of its three features: being multitask, having not that high price and its appealing design. In a word, everything is well-thought-out in this device!

Braun FaceSpa Young Beauty

If I were to clearly precise what it is, I would have a problem. This device has so many functions that it’s really hard to describe it using one phrase. If you google it, you will find this device as facial epilator by Braun – probably that was supposed to be its primal function. However, this item goes with five interchangeable heads each of them altering the device’s purpose. Therefore, it can be considered as a facial cleansing brush, a device to exfoliate dead epidermis cells, etc.

What has charmed me in this device? Braun FaceSpa is:

• 6 treatments in 1 device;
• 6 times more effective face washing;
• hair removal + cleansing + massaging;
• compact and elegant design.

So far I haven’t found another such a product which could be both epilator and multitask facial cleansing brush in one. And I have to admit that I was looking for similar device really long. This proves that Braun FaceSpa Young Beauty is currently a one-of-a-kind product on the market. Depending on the head we choose, it can remove hair, cleanse face, exfoliate epidermis and vitalize skin.

FOR FREE! My totally beloved gadget that goes with the device is a magnifying mirror with in-built light and a convenient make-up bag.

MY OPINION

Hair removal with Braun FaceSpa

I’m desperately afraid of epilation because from my experience I know that it’s painful. Especially when we have to remove the little moustache that grows on the delicate skin located above the upper lip. This procedure done with Braun FaceSpa is easy and truly painless. The epilating head including 10 micro-holes removes even the tiniest hair quickly and without discomfort.

Face cleansing with Braun FaceSpa

There are three brushes provided for daily care: ultra-delicate, peeling and regular. The first one is designed to cleanse sensitive and problematic complexion; it works really gently. With the aid of the second brush I distribute peeling all over my face; thanks to this the procedure of dead epidermis cells exfoliation is significantly improved. When it comes to the third head, I use it for daily face washing (I use my favourite face gel as well). All the heads are waterproof therefore I sometimes do the procedure under the shower.

Massage with Braun FaceSpa

Vitalising head is a new item in Braun FaceSpa set. It has small, very delicate and evenly arranged silicone bristles which facilitate precise face massage. After one treatment that lasts a few minutes I notice that my skin looks way better. The microcirculation of blood is stimulated.

Beautifying with Braun FaceSpa

For me the greatest surprise was this beautifying brush. I wouldn’t ever think that I can apply a cream and a foundation using such a device. My favourite moisturising cream is absorbed by my skin faster and better when I use Braun brush to massage the cosmetic into my face. Also, a foundation is easy to apply and the effect looks natural provided that the colour cosmetic is light and runny.
