Another worth trying out method is rising the hair at its roots and tying it up forming a few tight plaits or buns on the top of the head. When you loose the strands, you’ll see that there is twice as much of the hair. In order to fix the look, use a hair spray or an oily hair mist.

What’s interesting, even hair straightening adds volume to hair. However, try not to overuse a flat iron since the high temperature will damage hair and dehydrate it. Of a great importance is also using heat protection products and when you finally make the hair straight – a smoothing cosmetic. Remember to protect the hair against splitting and dehydration.

How to tie hair so as to make it look bigger? In this case you should give a go to French plaits, the ones tied at the top of a head, delicately backcombed hairdos and so-called fake plaits. I guess you are mostly interested in the last type of a hairdo, aren’t you? In short, all you have to do is do a regular plait and then delicately pull out single strands. If you do this skilfully, you will obtain a plait of doubled size. In general, this style is called pancaking or pull-through braid.
