I would never think that I can be so obsessed.
In general, I focus most of my attention on mascara or contouring palettes rather than eyeshadows.
I could easily get by just having some basic “boring” shades and as a woman who is always in a hurry, always working and always exercising, I just made my eye make-up quickly and without giving it too much thought.
It all changed when I lay my hands on Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette. I am talking about Modern Renaissance. Now, my make-up relives its renaissance. I cannot ignore these beautiful colours. I constantly try new combinations when I apply my make-up to or after work.
Modern Renaissance is a self-sufficient palette: no additional nude or other base colours are necessary to perform the entire eye make-up with just the palette. The eyeshadows have marvellous colours that are highly pigmented and have a silky texture. Cosmetic is soft and causes no problem with blending – even to those who are new to make-up.
The application effortlessness makes me want to never stop using them. Each time I am satisfied with the effect and I truly feel like Renaissance painter.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance eyeshadows are arranged great. The upper row holds a bit colder shades, while the lower row contains warmer shades, where dominate light, sunny colours and dusky pink that go well with shades of the entire palette. I believe that by mixing the warm and cold colours, you can gain great, harmonious eye make-up.
In my opinion, the eyeshadows have infinitely many possibilities. Another thing worth pointing out is that this product is long-lasting and that its shades of light beige can be used also as a cheek highlighter. On top of it, the palette was complemented by high-quality brush, which is rare, because most brands put eye shadows quality over the applicator.
The packaging is actually something that I do not have to mention, do I? It just took my breath away. Classic and chic. I sold my soul to few colourful squares.
However, before you judge me, try Modern Renaissance yourself.
