Dual Ended High Impact Mascara in Black & Lash Building Primer – this very long name conceals Clinique product that is both a traditional black mascara and a white spiral working as a primer that boosts eyelash volume and length. It’s supposed to enhance the looks of lashes and gift them with proper care.
Clinique Dual Ended has been ophthalmologically tested. As all Clinique cosmetics, it’s fully safe.
To be honest, I’m not a fan of mascara primers as they often stick lashes together, creating a very fake makeup effect. Fine… they can save women who have extremely short, sparse and thinning lashes when traditional mascaras fail.
Clinique tempted me promising the white primer doesn’t only ‘build’ every eyelash but also has stunning conditioning power. I hoped for something more than everyday makeup – the renovation of eyelashes.
I bought Clinique mascara & primer quite recently and have been using it for three weeks so it’s hard to say if it has enhanced my lashes. To be honest, I hoped the product would boost their looks after the first week… I don’t mean some mind-blowing changes but I looked forward to better condition and volume. Because my eyelashes are quite long, I don’t like the effect of the Clinique mascara & primer; I look like a Drag Queen… which isn’t good for to-go makeup. I apply Lash Building Primer before sleep, hoping the polymers will nourish my lashes during the night.
Clinique product gives nice coating and delicate makeup. I would be happier if Dual Ended Mascara had silicone wands instead of the traditional ‘hairy’ brushes. However, the spirals work quite well. I don’t know if I will buy the cosmetic again. If the primer fails to deliver spectacular results, I surely won’t get another tube. Clinique offers so many better mascaras that I’m fond of. Dual Ended High Impact Mascara in Black & Lash Building Primer isn’t one of them.
